When Harry Met Sally... (1989)
Nominated for the Academy Award for screenplay written directly for the screen. The question has been asked a million times by a million movies... can friends become lovers and stay friends? This film is a great example. Very funny, very touching, very cute; this movie is again, everything you could want in a date movie, but with a little more adult theme. This film deserves a lot of respect for the development of characters. I wanted Harry and Sally to get together so damn bad by the end of the film, I almost couldn’t stand it.
