True Romance (1993)

If ever you become a director, and you get a chance to work with Quentin Tarantino, we would suggest you jump on that chance. Quentin actually sold this script to fund his directorial debut, Reservoir Dogs. Tarantino material is money in the bank and this project is obviously no exception. Not to take any credit away from Scott. This film as a whole, from the writing to the direction, is beautiful. The story is about a young couple who falls in love, gets married, robs a pimp of hundreds of thousands of dollars of cocaine, tries to sell it to a Hollywood film producer, and ends up in a climactic shootout with the FBI. Romance at it's definition. Worth a watch just to see the all star cast in action. (Directed by Tony Scott)
