The Last Waltz (1978)
Uno mas documentary, this one featuring the final concert of the legendary rock band The Band. The Band is responsible for such songs as "The Weight" and "Up on Cripple Creek". The documentary includes all five of the original band members (Rick Danko, Levon Helm, Garth Hudson, Richard Manuel, and Robbie Robertson) and features special appearances by Van Morrison, Bob Dylan (who the band used to play back up for), Joni Mitchell, and many others. Even those who may not consider themselves fans of "The Band" have appreciate the amount of skill shown in the project by its filmmakers. (Directed by Martin Scorsese)
