The Client (1994)

Nominated for the Academy Award for actress. This yet another film based from a John Grisham book. This one is about a little boy on the Mafia’s hit list. One night he happens across a man on the verge of suicide. The man is rambling off information about the mob and where bodies are hidden. The boy runs off and the man shoots himself. Well, with all of this criminal information in his head, the boys become afraid and think that the best thing for him to do would be to find a lawyer. After stumbling across one, the lawyer finds that protecting the boy proves to be more difficult than anticipated. The film’s popularity lead it to a short lived television series on the W.B. (Directed by Joel Schumacher)
