Nomads (1986)

McTiernan's debut is the only of his feature films that he has written. The story is set in the last couple days in the life of an anthropologist studying a wandering group of people in California. It’s a horrific and haunting movie with mentionable performances by the leads. (Written and directed by John McTiernan)
