Nixon (1995)
Nominated for the Academy Award for score, screenplay written directly for the screen, supporting actress, and actor. The story of Richard Nixon. The film follows his tainted career in the White House and through flashbacks tells the story of his childhood. Anthony Hopkins plays less of an impression of Nixon but more of an impression of the position and situation. The film is also strongly aided by a great supporting cast. Good movie that's generally embraced by most Stone fans, but clocking in at almost three hours fifteen minutes, it's a little long winded. (Written and directed by Oliver Stone)
