Martin Scorsese
Martin Scorsese doesn't rely on special effects or commercialism to tell his tales; just brilliant story telling. Few have been around as long and few have been as hailed as he has in his career. While typically he chooses to focus on mob and gangster-related stories and characters, he definitely hasn’t stereocast himself. Instead he has proven himself to be awe inspiring in just about every genre available.
