Filming action is a difficult art and few can shoot an action sequence like John McTiernan. His films are well crafted and rarely insult your intelligence with gratuitous and predictable chase scenes and explosions.  In effect, he demands a higher level of action movie.  His movies are fun to watch and easy to like, making them great additions to the home library.
