GoodFellas (1990)
Won the Academy Award for supporting actor. Nominated for editing, screenplay based from previous material, director, supporting actress, and picture. Winner of the American Film Institute’s top one hundred movies of all time: number ninety-four. With little question one of the greatest gangster movies ever made. Actually based on a true story, it's about the lives of three men, all in various levels in the mob and how they all climb or descend on it's "corporate ladder". The film spans almost twenty years and holds remarkably true to each time period with the fashions, expressions, and music of each. Overall, probably Scorsese’s crowning achievement.
