Falling Down (1993)
I think of this film every time I am stopped on the interstate in gridlock. The story is about a man who is fed up with society's flaws and lashes out; at first silently, then violently. He moves across the city, towards his daughter's birthday party, righting his injustices along the way. The film makes it easy to relate to the main character through one’s own views and frustrations. Also notice that the main character’s name is never revealed in the film. He is referred to by the police as "D-FENS", his abandoned car’s personalized license plate. (Directed by Joel Schumacher)
