Dying Young (1991)
The movie follows a young nurse who after finding that her boyfriend is cheating on her leaves and takes a job in a hospice. There she meets a young man dying of cancer. Soon, the two fall in love but the relationship is damned from the get go as he has a very short while to live. Good idea for a touching love story. Schumacher said in an interview that he likes to challenge himself with projects that are in genres that he hasn’t worked in before and that is why he signed on for this film, this project being a tear jerker.
