Welcome to our little slice of the web!! We have built a site that you will hopefully enjoy enough to come back often, and maybe tell your friends about.
We are aspiring filmmakers, and movie buffs in general. We started this site with a free Geocities web site a few years ago. We just rambled about our favorite directors, and the films they have made. More and more people like what we had, so we decided to build a real site with our own domain name.
We decided that we needed to come up with a company name, so of course we picked two. Handsome Guys Productions, and Ambidextrous Pictures. We got the domain names, but quickly found out that Handsome Guys led a lot of people to gay porn. We realized that even though this was a huge market, it was not our target audience so we focused on Ambidextrous Pictures.
Our target audience is people who are interested in Hollywood, and independent filmmaking. We took our list of 34 directors, and categorized them into the Gods of Filmmaking. We reviewed every movie they had made, and created a filmography of each director. On each directors page we have included every movie poster we could find (some we haven’t been able to find yet). Each poster will soon link to a page with movie memorabilia that you can buy if you like.
We have several sections to our site now. We have Gods of Filmmaking, Merchandise page for Ambidextrous Stuff, Our Message Board, and Point Counter Point (where we argue about films). We have also added a Site Map page so you can see the layout of our site in all its glory.
In the not too distant future we will have a Film History page, and a Handsome Guys Recommends page. There we will recommend some films in many genres that are not so popular but are defiantly worth seeing.
So grab a beverage of your choice, Sit back, and surf your way around. Right below this is our Handsome Guys Gazette. Give it a read, it is where we rant about anything on our mind. We hope you like our site, and find it both educational and entertaining. Actually we will settle for entertaining. Well we will settle for anything as long as you keep coming back, but you get the picture.
